Prepairing and Tagging Information
What to Consign -Seasonal children’s clothing, shoes and accessories.
All items must be in like-new condition, we will not accept play clothes.
-Toys, books, children’s videos in original cases, games.
-Cribs (No drop sided cribs), changing tables, pack-n-plays, baby swings, strollers, highchairs, strollers, bath seats, pack n play's etc.
-Nursery bedding & decorations, toddler and twin size bedding.
-Diaper Bags (we will not take the diaper bags that are given out free by the hospitals)
-Maternity Clothes (all seasons), pregnancy books and videos
-Dress up, and dance attire. (halloween costumes at our fall sale)
-Sport items, cleats, knee pads, skates, etc.
-Spring & Summer clothes and gear (Spring/Summer Sale)
-Fall & Winter clothes and gear (Fall/Winter Sale)
Sorry, we will not take:
-Drop sided cribs
Please note, if you are taking the time to consign your items, take the time to make them look there best.
-Button all Buttons
-Snap all Snaps
-Zip all Zippers
-Launder and press as necessary
-Clean toys and accessories
-Write on your tags so everyone can read them.
-Safety pins ONLY. No straight pins!
-Tags must be secure but able to be taken off at the check out.
CONSIGNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING FOR RECALLS ON ALL OF THERE ITEMS THAT THEY ARE SELLING. YOU MUST SIGN A WAIVER AT CHECK-IN VERIFYING THIS!
Making your tags
-Tags are made from 3 x 5 index cards, depending on the size of the item they can be cut in half.
-Use white tags if you want your item donated at the end of the sale.
-Use colored tags if you want your item back at the end of the sale
-ND (No Discount) should be written on the bottom left side on your tag if you do NOT want your item to be marked off by 50% the last day of the sale, all items without ND will be discounted.
-Items must have a tag to be sold; items found without tags will be donated at the end of the sale.
-Please write clearly and in dark ink so everyone can read your tag easily.
- Tags need to be secured to your items but also must be able to be taken off at our check out.
-Any items that are donated that are not accepted by our donation trucks for any reason become property of Wee Kids Consignment Sale.
Tags should be labeled as followed...
-Leave ½ inch space on the top to allow room to pin or tape to your item.
-Write out your Consignor Number (This will a three diget number and given to you when you contact us.)
- Middle of the tag is for
-Bottom left corner is for ND if you are writing it.
-Bottom right is for price
Prices need to be in $1.00 increments, See picture examples at the bottom of this page.
-All clothing must be secured on hangers you can safety pinned on hangers for any items that may fall off. Wire hangers work the BEST! Wire hangers take less space on the racks, they move back and forth easier and can be pinned to easily and will not break like a plastic hanger may.
-When hanging clothes on hanger, make sure the top of the hanger curves like a (?) question mark. This way all of the clothes at the sale will be facing the same way.
-All clothes should be secured to the hanger use safty pins if needed.
-Tags should be pinned to the upper right side of the clothing item
-If selling an outfit, pin both pieces to the same hanger.
-Children’s sizes must be written in numeric only, do not write: Small, Med or Large on a tag.
-Must be in new or like new condition
-Secure them together with a zip tie, string or ribbon
-Make sure your tag is secure on them and a piece of masking tape on the bottom of each shoe with your consigner code and price will help if for some reason they get separated.
-Small items or groups of small items work well if put in Ziploc Bags and attach the tag to the outside of the bag.
-Large items should be assembled make sure ALL pieces are included. (items not assembled will not sell as well)
-if you are unable to have them assembled you must provide a picture of the item assembled.
-All toys must be in proper working order
-Cleaned toys that look new are more likely to sell
-If a toy needs batteries to work, they must be included.
-Large toys with small pieces, Ziploc smaller pieces and secure the bag to the larger toy with tape.

-Please do not tape tags to books.
-Place books in Ziploc bags and tape your tag to the outside of the bag.
-you can also tie books together with ribbon or string and pin the tag to the ribbon
-If more than one book is in your bag please list titles on tag.
Please note when your drop off your items.
-clothes MUST be sorted by Gender and Size
-If you are picking up your items at the end of the sale you must leave a box with your consignor code on it (with out the lid) for us to sort your items into.
-Must sign a waiver during check-in saying that you have checked your items for any recalls.
-A signed seller agreement must also be signed at the time of drop off.
-Must leave us with a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) for us to mail you your check. Must have your consignor code on envelope. There is a $1.00 charge for consignors that do not have a SASE at drop off to cover the envelope and stamp.
- The $5.00 fee for selling at our sale will be taken out of your profits.
All Checks Will Be Mailed Within 2 Weeks Of The Sale.
They will not be available at the end of the sale.
Books can be tied together with ribbon or string and tag can be pinned to the ribbon.
